Lakeland Good With Everything Herb Sea Salt 300g

Previously only available to exclusive restaurants, once only chefs could be seen scattering handfuls of this all natural, herb flavoured sea salt into their culinary delights – so, many years ago, our savvy Buying Team bagged it for Lakeland.

A store cupboard essential that’s brilliant for seasoning gravies, roasted vegetables and meat, sprinkle it into to any savoury dish before, during or after cooking. We know our customers and Lakeland colleagues alike love its aromatic properties. Andrew from our Call Centre said “it smells like a Mediterranean holiday and makes me feel like a chef, not just a cook. I add it to everything from scrambled egg to roasted vegetables and new potatoes – not forgetting steaks.”

We even hear of customers who give it to their friends and family for Christmas – every year! And, of course you can fill a salt mill and let your guests grind it themselves at the dinner table.

Suggested Uses

• Pep up plain vegetables, by adding some with a little butter or olive oil after cooking
• Add to olive oil and pour over vegetables before roasting them
• Sprinkle onto steaks and joints of meat before grilling or roasting
• Add flavour to stews, casseroles and curries
• Pop it in into the pestle and mortar to macerate garlic with added flavour.

Herbs included: Herbes de Provence (thyme, marjoram, rosemary, oregano, savory, basil and tarragon), black pepper and lavender.
