The Buying Team were like bees around a honeypot when Jenny baked a scrummy sponge with a sweet, sticky glaze. The impressive tear and share, pre-portioned cake comes out of the non-stick cast aluminium pan as a giant honeycomb, complete with baked-in buzzy bees.

Recipe incl. Takes a 4-egg sponge mix.

Honeycomb Pan

What a fab cake tin such fun and no need for knives as it really does pull apart. I used the provided recipe the first time I used this tin and although it got a thumbs up from my family they did say that as they were getting to the end it was a bit dry. I now only use the tin for bigger gatherings and just use a 4 egg lemon cake mix. The tin is great and with quick cake release comes out no problem, it is a bit fiddly to wash getting in all the nooks and crannies but definitely worth the results and positive comments. The tin is sturdy and will last a lifetime.

Honeycomb Pan

I love this pan! I made a chocolate courgette mix in it, which came out fudgy and moist (and counts as one of your five a day!). The quality of the pan is superb, it's expensive but will last a lifetime and will be passed on through the generations, you can feel the quality of it when you pick it up. Great as a "presentation piece" - you will get lots of wows! when you bring it out, but then it breaks apart easily for sharing as individual muffin sized chunks. Totally recommended.
