Once this first layer has hardened, ‘paint’ on another layer and allow that one to set too, then repeat until the chocolate’s as thick as you want it – about 4 layers should be enough.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\r\nThe silicone band around the edge of each mould helps them keep their shape while you’re coating and setting, but comes off easily when it’s time to turn out the finished halves.
