Sage and Onion Butter

Christmas cooking is all about those little extras that bring your turkey to life, and this sage and onion butter does exactly that. Packed with festive flavour and simple to prepare ahead of time, it’s a secret weapon for a juicy, golden bird that tastes incredible.
Ingredients
- 250g Softened butter
- 4 tbsp Dried sage and onion stuffing mix
Method

Place the stuffing mix into a pestle and mortar and grind down to a powder.

Add to the butter and mix well.

Place the flavoured butter onto cling film, roll into a cracker shape, twist the ends and freeze.

When cooking your turkey, soften the butter. Rub half over the bird before roasting.

Melt the remaining butter gently in a pan and brush over the turkey before serving.
