Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2cm fresh ginger minced
- 300g boneless skinless chicken fillets, diced
- 500g tomatoes deseeded and diced
- 1 red pepper finely sliced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 100ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garam masala
- To serve
- - Pilau rice
- - Chapattis
Method

Heat the oil in the Karahi Cooking Dish on a medium heat. Add the onion and fry until golden.

Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken and fry quickly, for about 2-3 minutes, turning the chicken to cook all sides.

Add all of the other ingredients except for the garam masala, stir, and simmer for 30 minutes.

Stir in the garam masala and cook for two more minutes.

Serve with warm pilau rice and a chapatti.
