Pigs in Blankets with Sesame and Korean Glaze

Pigs in blankets are a festive favourite, but this Korean twist takes them to the next level. Smoky bacon, juicy sausages, and a sticky-sweet glaze made with gochujang, honey, and soy. Finished with sesame seeds for crunch, they’re the ultimate Christmas side – or the star of the Boxing Day buffet.
Ingredients
- 24 Chipolata sausages
- 12 rashers Smoked streaky bacon (halved)
- 1 tbsp Gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp White sesame seeds
Method

Wrap each sausage in half a rasher of bacon. Place on a baking tray.

Roast at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until nearly crisp.

Mix gochujang, soy, and honey in a bowl.

Brush over sausages, return to oven for 5 minutes.

Scatter with sesame seeds before serving.
