Maple and Bacon Butter

This butter is Christmas indulgence at its finest—smoky bacon, rich butter, and sweet maple syrup. It’s the perfect way to add flavour to your festive turkey or spread on warm bread rolls. Prepare ahead, freeze, and simply bring it out to transform your roast into something unforgettable.
Ingredients
- 250g Softened butter
- 4 Smoked bacon rashers
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup
Method

Cook the bacon until crispy, then pour over the maple syrup and leave to cool.

Chop into small pieces.

Mix the bacon with the butter.

Place onto cling film, roll into a cracker, twist the ends, and freeze.

When cooking your turkey, soften the butter. Rub half over the bird before roasting.

Melt the remaining butter gently and brush over the turkey before serving.
