Chocolate and Orange Tarts

Rich, indulgent, and beautifully festive, these chocolate and orange tarts are a guaranteed showstopper. Crisp pastry cases filled with silky dark chocolate, a touch of marmalade, and a sprinkle of sea salt. Perfect for making ahead, they’ll add a touch of elegance to your Christmas dessert spread.
Ingredients
- For the Pastry
- 300g Plain flour
- 150g Butter
- 3–4 tbsp Cold water
- For the Filling
- 200g Chocolate
- 200ml Double cream
- 1 tbsp Marmalade
- Pinch of sea salt
Method

Rub butter into flour, add water, and form a dough. Rest in fridge 1 hour.

Roll out, cut 12 discs, line tart tray. Blind bake at 170°C for 10–15 minutes with baking beans.

Melt chocolate with cream and marmalade until smooth.

Remove beans, fill pastry cases, sprinkle with sea salt. Leave to set.
