Being huge fans of Donna Hay, we’re completely biased but we think her latest cookbook, The New Easy, is absolutely beautiful. It’s also full of uncomplicated recipes and shortcuts designed to make cooking so much easier, and that's something we can all appreciate.
Donna’s simple cookery approach, delicious recipes and stunning photography have been hugely inspiring to us, especially when we’ve been working on the Lakeland magazine app, so we’re delighted to get the chance to showcase a small selection of her recipes here, alongside her new book.
A leading food stylist, magazine editor and Australia’s best-selling author of over 20 cookbooks, Donna skipped into a kitchen at the age of eight, picked up a mixing bowl and never looked back.
At 19 she began to work in publishing and in magazine test kitchens. Here she established her trademark style of beautifully-put-together, simple recipes and photography, and it’s this unique style that’s ensured she’s become an international food-publishing phenomenon.
Hers is food for every cook, every food lover, every day and every occasion.
