The Zyliss brand was founded by Karl Zysett in Lyss, Switzerland in 1951. The "design to delight" principle inspired by Karl Zysett is still at the heart of the brand today. At Lakeland we are proud to stock a wide range of Zyliss kitchen tools and utensils, the key to many of which are their hardened, stainless steel blades which do the job just as you would expect Swiss technology to do.
Zyliss take their inspiration from new products from both a careful consideration of changing customer demands, as well as anticipating changes in lifestyle trends and the way in which we live our daily lives. Not only is the ingenious design of kitchen gadgets intended to make our lives that little bit easier, but also help us to enjoy cooking and food prep. Zyliss' innovative approach and careful construction of their ever-expanding catalogue of products has seen numerous creations achieve the coveted Red Dot Award status, an award given to the best in design.
From the release of their first garlic press in 1948, Zyliss now sell everything from vegetable peelers and ice cream scoops to knives and manual food processors. Their products combine stylish good looks with easy-to-use functionality, helping people with limited dexterity and making laborious food prep tasks quick and easy, while also ensuring fantastic and consistent results.
