The Evolution of KitchenCraft

KitchenCraft, as it is now known, was established in 1850 by Thomas Plant in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham, UK, and traded under the founder's name until the company’s rebranding in 1996. Having originally specialised in the wholesale of ironmongery and household products, KitchenCraft have gradually expanded their catalogue to include all types of home and kitchenware.

Today, KitchenCraft's range of products includes everything from measuring spoons to vegetable steamers and fondue sets. Their various ranges of products now include ColourWorks, bold, colourful kitchenware which stands out in the modern kitchen; the Artesa range of hand-finished plates and platters for an impressive dining experience; the BarCraft range of barware for quick, easy and tasty cocktails; and the Masterclass range of kitchenware, which brings professional standard equipment to your home kitchen. Whatever you need, the chances are KitchenCraft produce it.

Despite the company's rebranding in the late twentieth century, KitchenCraft retains the style and quality that Thomas Plant was known for. As well as evoking distinctly nostalgic feelings through their retro style, KitchenCraft's range of cast iron meat mincers and sausage makers, stainless steel roasting tins and antique-looking bread and biscuit tins demonstrate the quality ironmongery for which the company was known at its inception almost 170 years ago.
