Greenpan Cookware

A Belgian company, GreenPan is the brainchild of two school friends, Jan Helskens and Wim De Veirman, who set out to create a greener, non-toxic alternative to conventional non-stick PTFE pan coatings. After a long search they found a ceramic coating called Thermalon.

10 years on, their pans are loved all around the world. Refusing to rest on their eco-friendly laurels, they use upcycled stainless steel and aluminium wherever possible and are constantly searching for new innovations such as reinforcing their Thermolon non-stick with diamonds to give it extra durability and resilience.

Why Choose GreenPan Ceramic?

Made from natural materials the ceramic coating on GreenPan frying pans and saucepans is derived from sand meaning it is 100% PFA and PFOA free. Its thermal conductivity means it's perfect for frying at low temperatures, using less energy and it's 60% more durable than traditional non-stick. Using Thermalon non-stick means pans are even metal utensil safe.

How to Care for your GreenPan

Turn the heat down, as these pans are so efficient you don't need a high heat. Use oil or butter as low fat sprays can burn easily. After use, clean your GreenPan frying pan or pan thoroughly in warm soapy water to avoid burned on fat.

Why the GreenPan Venice Pro range?

Hard anodised pans have extremely efficient heat conduction as well as the pans being twice as hard as steel. The Magneto base contains iron filings reinforced with copper which helps keep the base from deforming and allows food to cook evenly and the non-stick coating to last longer. The combination of the ceramic coating and Magneto base create maximum efficiency on induction hobs. In addition, the GreenPan Venice range is oven safe up to 220C and dishwasher safe.
