£20 Lakeland e-voucher

I bought this to include in a gift for a friend. I couldn’t print it off the link didn’t work. I contacted customer services and after a long time they answered and said it should print off. No other help was offered. By that time it was too late anyway I will be using the voucher myself. This is the first time in all my years shopping with Lakeland that I have ever had even a hint of a problem. Certainly it is totally unheard off not to get positive knowledgeable and helpful advice to resolve a problem if a difficulty has been raised. The upside of this is I have money to spend on myself.

I ordered this online as part of a gift for my sister’s birthday. It was sent to my email immediately and I could forward to her so she was able to order online with the voucher. She does not live near a store so this is her preferred method. It would theoretically be possible to order a voucher online for someone already in the store. The vouchers have a long use by date, 2 years I think, so plenty browsing time online or time to go to a store. The latter would suit me as I live in Spain and UK visits about one a year but still love to shop in Lakeland and ‘feel’ the products seen online.

Expected something printable (like Amazon do) as it was a Christmas gift but disappointed only a sheet of paper to copy. My daughter in law lives 2 hours away from your nearest shop. If I had had it sent they were charging silly postage for it when it should be a first class stamp fee. Poor service for such a great company and so many people using on line

I wanted this as a present for a relative but didn't read the gift cards properly. Just picked at the designs and ended up ordering one gift card and 1online gift card. Waited a week then rang customer services. The lady was so helpful explained what I done arranged to use the online one to pay for a new gift card and sent it to me in time for Christmas. She was brilliant. Unfortunately the courier let us down by leaving the parcel outside without leaving a note and I didn't find it until my relative had left. But I would really like to thank you for the effort.
