Culpitt Cake Modelling Icing Paste - 100g Metallic Silver 4 "Good, but needs more instructions!" Ms Palmer 14 January 2020 Fortunately I read a review elsewhere by someone who had been given an instruction sheet when they bought this product! If you cut it into very small chunks, knead together a few at a time until they soften up, and then combine all the small lumps together, you end up with a very malleable consistency which worked very well for me in a quite intricate saxophone-shaped mould and freezing for 20 minutes. I didn't try rolling it out though... A note from the team Thank you for your review - we're sure this will be really helpful for other customers.
Culpitt Cake Modelling Icing Paste - 100g Metallic Silver 1 "Horrible stuff!" Miss Fellowes 17 September 2019 I bought this to form a decoration for my fiance’s bday cake. It was rock solid, and I couldn’t even put a dent in it by hitting it with a rolling pin, never mind working it with my hands. So I tried giving it a very quick burst in the microwave and the consistency changed to a sloppy mess with a horrible grainy texture. I put it on a plate to firm up, and it welded itself to the plate. I can’t shift it, and will have to chiv it off with a knife. I can only imagine what it does to your insides. The cakey surprise is ruined, I am stressed and I am £2.99 out of pocket. Complete waste of money. A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with the modelling icing and for the inconvenience its caused you. We've sent you an email to offer you a refund.
Culpitt Cake Modelling Icing Paste - 100g Metallic Silver 1 "Fondant texture" Mrs Allen 22 May 2019 Disappointed with this fondant - when kneading it crumbled and was difficult to get to a rollable consistency. When I did manage to model it, the surface had a cracked appearance. A note from the team Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry to hear of the problem you'd had, I'll be in touch shortly.
