Lakeland 3.5L Digital Slow Cooker

It has renewed my interest in cooking and I love making stocks overnight now -- waking up to glorious smells! Being be able to brown the ingredients in the actual cooker pot encourages me to try more recipes. Of course resulting in purchasing more Lakeland containers to store it all. My only complaint (thus 4 stars) is that although I have been very careful to use the right utensils, somehow the non stick of the inner pot has got a couple of scratches which show the bare aluminum. As it concerns me to use it when scratched, is it possible to get a replacement inner non stick pot?

returned the first one because the base was dished and out by 5mm at the edge of the induction circle. Wouldn’t work on our induction job. second one just arrived and this is flatter - but not as flat as a typical induction capable pan. However it does work on our new hob but keeps clicking on and off repeatedly on the Lakeland hob The base material is quite thin - I would say too thin to keep its form in manufacture and use.

Box arrived open - all contacts intact however.. Very flimsy instruction pamphlet. Cooker easy to set up. Lack of detailed information for casseroles. Made a chicken casserole which was almost a chicken soup, due to lack of instructions. Tasty however. Hopefully, more success next time!

With a much higher price tag I would still recommend this. Great to be able to sear in the pot - and better still the ability to set the timer to delay the start of cooking time. Something to look out for which I’ll admit was my stupidity as much as anything else - the clock screen has a removable film which is perhaps not as obvious as it could be - so I thought the screen was damaged. Lakeland were, as always, brilliant and it was my mistake but worth knowing. I’m single and the capacity is perfect for batch cooking. I went a little over the recommended two thirds capacity, no problems. Ace!

Just purchased this as an upgrade to our previous one - downsides to slow cooking have been addressed like I can do all the stove top prep in the inner and then transfer the whole lot into the cooker - much less washing up and mess and its not anywhere near as heavy -wash always in danger of dropping it before because of the ceramic inner. I expected the outside to get warm- you are warned about it and I would expect that anyway. Timer function is brilliant and it works. Being able to adjust heat mode is great too.

Simple and easy to use, lovely looking slow cooker , having a timer on it makes it so easy to keep track on cooking times, you can also set your cooking time which is a big tick. Lots of features, only negative is the outer gets very warm
