FoodSaver Quick Marinator 2.1L FSFSMA0050 1 "Lid can’t be washed!" Mrs Spray 18 October 2019 I bought this today and used it to marinate some chicken. It worked fine. Then I checked the leaflet to see whether it was dishwasher safe, and it turns out that the lid can’t be washed at all, just ‘wiped’. How can you sell a product that it intended for raw meat and chicken and cannot be washed? This can’t be safe. It was particularly surprising as other FoodSaver lids can even go in the dishwasher. Due to the mechanism in the lid you are unable to immerse the lid in water, however it can be wiped with a warm soapy damp cloth and dried.
