Bissell Replacement Pads for Bissell Vac & Steam 5 "Easy to clean" Miss smith 24 June 2020 These pads pick up loads of dirty and I love the finish they give. Unlike the other reviewers I have had no problem getting the pads clean. I soak them in a little Hot soapy water (Oxy) For 10 minutes, then give The pad a bit of a rub together. Only ever had to hand wash them never needed to put in washing machine. Easy peasy.
Bissell Replacement Pads for Bissell Vac & Steam 2 "Difficult to clean" Mrs Utiger 10 June 2016 Agreewith previous review. These pads are expensive and difficult to clean - 30° wash does not clean them and 60° wash is marginally better. Need changing after every use because they pick up bacteria and smell badly if just left. I add an antibacterial laundry cleanser every time I wash them. Will have to order more though because need at least 7. Not sure why they are so expensive - just a pad of microfibre. The perfumed discs have a really unpleasant smell. A note from the team We're sorry to hear you've experienced this problem and have been disappointed with the price and performance. We do suggest washing them in a 30c wash, after each use, as any dirt that remains on the pad over a period of time may be ingrained and make the stain more difficult to shift. We wouldn't suggest washing under higher temperatures as this may cause the microfibre pad to shrink and then not fit your Bissell machine.It sounds like you're taking steps to ensure there's a thorough cleaning method by adding the antibacterial cleanser to your wash.We'll be in touch soon to help
Bissell Replacement Pads for Bissell Vac & Steam 3 "Fab, but don't seem to wash well" Mrs Macklin 30 December 2015 These replacement mop heads and the Vac and Steam are amazing products, but I can't seem to clean the mop heads as easily as the packet suggests. They always come out (from the wash) looking dirty but smelling clean if that makes sense. Also, wish they would sell the mop heads with the fragrance discs as they do with other mop head replacements supplied by Bissell.
