Kitchen Glove Buddy 3 "Too large but can be fixed" Ms palmer 07 April 2014 The width of the 'palm' of these metal hands is too wide for medium size gloves BUT by dint of manoeuvring I managed to move the 'fingers' to fit. So persevere. I love the glove buddy and am about to buy another one for the utility room - get me!
Kitchen Glove Buddy 4 "Sarah" Sarah Reynolds 04 April 2014 I bought 2 of these, one for a medium pairs of gloves, and one for a large. Found it very easy to get both sizes on and off easily.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "wished i never purchased.." Sandra 31 December 2013 I spent a great deal of time thinking about buying this product, in the end I brought it in October telling myself it was ok to spend the money as it would be opened Xmas as a present for myself....it's amazing what excuses you can give yourself when needed:) Firstly the hands are to big, the gloves do not fit on them without a massive time consuming struggle. And secondly the wire part that attaches to the base has already come out one side and I have to keep poking it back in. If I could send this item back for a refund I would do so. All other items purchased from Lakeland no problem. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the glove buddy hasn't been as expected. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Disappointed" LESLEY ABIGAIL 19 November 2013 Having had one of these in the past, I couldn't find it after having moved house so asked for another one for Christmas. When it arrived and I tried to use it I remembered why I had binned the old one - it simply does not fit a pair of medium sized gloves - now it is just taking up space on my kitchen windowsill once more, unable to meet the purpose it was designed for. So disappointed as it's a great idea. Please make it smaller!! A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to give your your feedback. I'm sorry that you'd been disappointed with the size I'll be sure to pass your comments on to the buying team.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 4 "Funky Fun" Sharon 03 June 2013 I kept picking this product up in store and putting it back due to the price for a non essential item. I finally decided to purchase (due to the Lakeland returns guarantee if I hated it). I am so glad I got it. It can be a little tricky to get the fingers on the glove correctly, but I have found practice makes perfect. I line up the thumb and first finger and once I have them in place the others are easy. It looks funky on my drainer. I manage to get a small bottle of washing up liquid between the gloves - so it is 'handy' for storage as well. The only slight downside is the boring grey tray.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 2 "Size seems small" Mrs Davies 14 May 2013 I received this item today. While I love the look of the glove buddy, it takes ages to get the gloves on, to the degree that one glove has torn. I only wear a medium glove, so I'm surprised that the sizing of the glove buddy is so large A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the glove buddy hasn't been as expected. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Disappointing" Hilary 06 May 2013 This is too small for anything other than a generous-sized medium. I have small hands, and it's impossible to fit the gloves to the product - and I've tried alternative gloves. No go. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that the caddy is too big for your glove size and will be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 3 "Glove Buddy review" Sally 22 January 2013 I have to say I am a little disappointed in this product, the reason being that it is not quick and easy to get a medium size pair of gloves onto the stand. I have been using them for a few days now and am finding myself just putting half the glove onto the stand, not actually inserting all the fingers into the glove. They are still a great gadget to have as it means I haven't got wet gloves laying around by the sink, but it would be so much better if you could easily and quickly slip the gloves onto the frame. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review and speaking with us today. We're sorry you've been disappointed with the glove buddy. We're pleased we've been of some help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 5 "Does what it says on the tin and looks nicely quirky." Gary 01 June 2012 As soon as I saw this in the store I knew it would save me from soggy gloves and being moaned at for them being in they way of my husband when he was in the kitchen. My Mum was convinced that it would be a 5 minute wonder when I bought it, one weekend, when she was visiting. However, on her next visit she was pleasantly surprised to see the buddy still in use! My only gripe is that its a struggle to get Medium sized gloves on to it. So i now wear large instead as they slip on really easily. Another fab purchase from Lakeland.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Not as good as its predecessor" SUSAN 11 May 2012 I had a pair of glove buddies for years, eventually the 'stainless steel hands' became separated from the plastic base. I bought this one as a replacement but have found it is not as good or as described. From the description on the website I was expecting the base to be made from polypropylene (plastic) and for it to be sturdy. The actual base is made from some sort of 'potteryish' material and has chipped and cracked easily. the hands are a bit too large for the gloves but they will still fit on. The previous one was more suited for the purpose. I do not use it now as the base is unfit. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We've check with the buyers and they've confirmed this is made from polypropylene. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 2 "Glove Buddy" Doreen 02 April 2012 Dear Sir I previously had a cheaper version of this product which fitted my small size gloves perfectly however I find that my gloves are very difficult to fit onto my Lakeland Glove Buddy. In fact I have given up wearing rubber gloves as it isn't worth the struggle to fit and remove them from the metal frame. Apologies for the negative comment as I usually find Lakeland products perfect for the job intended. Doreen A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry that you've had problem with this product. We'll be in touch soon to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 5 "brilliant idea" Janette 17 March 2012 This review is for an older version of this product I just love the kitchen glove buddy. I was so fed up with my rubber gloves getting soaked when I had to just leave them lying on the draining board. Now they stay dry all the time and are handy for my whenever I need them. The glove buddy works better with better quality rubber gloves i.e. marigold or other good quality gloves. Cheap rubber gloves are too tight to fit over the holders. I would definately recommend this clever little gadget :))
Kitchen Glove Buddy 5 "Perfect!" Lucy 06 February 2012 This is great-however will only fit medium/larger sized gloves (even with medium marigolds I needed to bend the fingers a bit)..also handy to hang dishcloths/flannels over.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 4 "Won't fit Small size gloves!" Ms Matthews 03 January 2012 I bought this for myself but found it IS too big for the small size Lakeland washing-up gloves that I use. However, I gave it to my sister-in-law for Christmas and she is delighted, as is my brother who also washes up!
Kitchen Glove Buddy 5 "totally awesome" Rebecca 30 September 2011 This product has been a god send....i hate soggy gloves...this is perfect for keeping your gloves dry. Friends that visit always comment!!
Kitchen Glove Buddy 2 "Fiddle-dee-dee!" Robyn Leate 27 May 2011 I loved the idea of a glove-drainer, but unfortunately it's been made relatively cheaply (and seemingly without much thought), and getting the gloves over the fingers is really fiddly. I still use it from time to time, but on the whole it is a little too time-consuming, so my marigolds have ended up sadly draped over the tap again. Poor little gloves. And of course, everyone who walks into my kitchen and sees it bursts out laughing as I vainly attempt to justify its purchase. Oh very dear. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Disappointed" Mrs Simmonds 21 April 2011 I found it so difficult it was almost impossible to get my gloves on the holder. When I did manage to get them on it was just as hard to remove them. Very disappointed as I had hoped this would be the answer to drippy gloves over the tap. This item will be going to the charity shop as I don't have the time to fight with it. I give it 1 star for a good idea. A note from the team I'm sorry to learn of the difficulties you've had. I'm glad we've been able to put things right for you.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Not quite as good as I hoped" Jennifer Carthew 21 April 2011 I find it very difficult to get my medium sized gloves on to the frame. I tend to pull them on up to where the fingers begin and leave them like that. Perhaps the frame would be better if it just had one prong to support the middle finger? A note from the team I'm sorry that you'd been a little disappointed with the glove buddy. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 5 "Very useful" Ruth 12 April 2011 Both my sisters had a set of these hands last time they were available from Lakeland. Mum and I thought they were brilliant but Lakeland stopped producing them. We were delighted when they returned! Now everyone in the family has a set! Perfect way to store and keep rubber gloves tidy and to stop them ending up filled with water.
Kitchen Glove Buddy 1 "Large 'hands'" Elizabeth 05 March 2011 I was disappointed with this purchase as the 'hands' were far too large to use with my medium (size 7 - 7.5) gloves. I would suggest that the product either needs to have smaller 'hands' or there need to be two different sizes sold. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. Sorry for the disappointment.I'll be in touch shortly to help.I've passed your suggestion to the buyer.
