PME Blue Concentrated Food Colouring 25g 3 "Not as blue as i would have liked" Mrs Harper-Pailing 03 October 2017 I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately these are only good if your happy with a pastel effect, not the blue I was wanting or near the colour shown on the bottle. Tried using more than the required amount as advised on bottle and still no good, such a shame. A note from the team Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry this food colouring didn't meet your expectations, we hope it didn't spoil your creation.
PME Blue Concentrated Food Colouring 25g 1 "faded" sue 15 April 2014 This review is for an older version of this product i was recommended this product in store, as a bake stable food colouring. i used this to make macaroons, before the macaroons went in, they were a lovely pale blue colour, within 5 mins of being in the oven, the tops started to tan (my oven was on medium) and started to change colour. i was left with brown topped, insipid dirty green shade macaroons. even the centres was the same horrid shade A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the problems and will be in touch shortly. Handy tip: In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt to soft peaks, then gradually whisk in the caster sugar until thick and glossy. At this point you can stir in the colouring, a drop at a time, until you reach the desired intensity. Colour the buttercream in the same way. I hope that helps.
