Klip It Sandwich Box

I agree with Karen, above, who complained about the hard-to-remove label on this box. My nice useful little box came with 4 (!) labels on it, 3 of which were removed easily, and one of which needed scraping off with fingernails, washing in the dishwasher, scouring with a pad and liquid, and STILL left a nasty mark on the bottom. HOWEVER, after I left my initial review I was contacted by Lakeland who rectified the situation beautifully with the offer of a replacement. What great service, and how good to know that the company is listening after the sale as well as before.

I first came across the Sistema range in New Zealand and am so happy can now get it here. Brilliant range - BPA free, easy clip and easy clean, holds food well (no mush or mess), microwave and freezer safe, easy storage in lunch boxes, decent price. Highly recommend the sandwich box and the "porridge bowl" which I use for my kids' hot lunches to school which goes straight into microwave - no spill, easy to eat out of, special steam vent for microwave

These are great - they're just the right size to keep a sandwich in your bag without taking up any more space than necessary. Having had mine for about a year, I can say that they clean up wonderfully in the dishwasher, that the seal remains effective and that the clasps stay put when in transit. Would buy again and again.

At last a good compact box for one round of sandwiches that fits easily into a handbag. It is just a pity that whilst the label on the top is easy the one on the base is not, I have tried everything to remove the residual glue to no avail, still left with a very sticky patch.
