This works brilliantly and have recommended it to many people. Just make sure you have a wasp catcher that won't let wasps out!
I have a house that seems to attract wasps, and there is usually a wasp nest under the eaves somewhere. I use this Wasp Attractant in the 'Wasp Catcher' I got from Lakeland. I have 3 of them hanging on a garden wall near to the patio area. My husband empties the Catchers every spring - he digs a hole & tips out the contents, and we can see clearly that they truly do catch & kill hundreds of wasps. He always refills the catchers with fresh, undiluted 'Wasp Attractant' and the wasps buzz round the catchers, rather than round us, even when we are eating/drinking quite close by. Great stuff!
I bought this to go with the wasp trap. We eat outside a lot during the summer but we have lots of wasps buzzing about and small children who aren't fond of them! We also have bees which we are quite happy with and I was previously reluctant to set up a trap with just sugary water because it would trap them all indiscriminately but this product claimed to just attract wasps not bumble bees.It has been up a few days and we could see there were definitely some animals inside, when I checked it I found that they were all bees. I am really disappointed as the claim on the bottle specifically says bees are safe with this product.
We were sorry to learn that bees had been attracted to the wasp attractant. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
