I cannot beleive the people who say this is not good I have had this for four years and I make preserves to sell so use it daily. It is accurate and strong and I couldnt manage without it,
I've had this for over five years, from being a marmalade novice until now. I make jam as well. It has never let me down and I find it convenient and easy to clean as well. It has been stored on a shelf next to my large wooden spoon and perhaps that's why it's remained in good condition. I've made a LOT of preserves since 2009 and recommend, but not with a non-stick pan as the base will scratch the surface
Very, very good value, made 8 pounds of marmalade and 6 of Chutney. Easy to use, clips to side of pan nice clear scale marking. Removes a lot of guess work
