Charbonnel Et Walker Nutcracker Truffles

I was sent these to taste and review. The packaging is really impressive and conveys a premium brand. This premium feel was carried through to the chocolates themselves. The nutty exterior gave way to a lovely soft truffle centre. As I reflect on the taste, it is the quality and taste of the nuts which really made the difference. My husband, who never eats nutty chocolates, tried one…and then another…. and another. I think that tells you how good they were!!

These were sent to me to try out for a review. On the first (and second!) tasting, I found them delicious. They have a shell coating with bits of nuts in and have a very soft centre. They are sweeter than you would expect in a classic chocolate truffle, and the centre is more gooey, so for those with a sweeter tooth I would think. Very pretty to look at and would make a lovely present.
