I purchased these ready for Christmas and have put them on the table for several sets of guests. All have commented that they are surprised that the wax hasn't dripped onto the tablecloth! They really do look like real candles. The only issue is that they don't fit into my candleholders. It would be nice if they were sold with a mini wreath as well.
