Santa Claus is coming to the top of a cupcake or cookie near you, thanks to Katy Sue Designs’ Santa Silicone Icing Mould, which turns out a wonderfully detailed Santa, complete with fluffy-tipped hat and bushy beard.
Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more
Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is an incredibly easy way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist skills. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to gently release your cake-topping creation.
Releases easily for perfectly preserved detail
Super-flexible and non-stick, it will release its contents easily, giving you wonderful definition with all the detail intact, from the fluffy texture of the band and pompom of his hat to the twining hairs of his beard.
Go hot and cold
Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this Santa mould can also be used with melted chocolate, Colour Melts, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out. And it’s freezer safe too, so it’s just the thing for creating festive ice shapes to add to little ones’ drinks!
