Step-by-step guides to making fresh pasta
If you’re worried about making pasta from scratch – don’t be! Carmelo is happy to admit that there’s nothing wrong with a good brand of ready-made, dried pasta, but she’s filled this lovely recipe book with hints and tips that will soon have you trying to make your own fresh pasta whether plain, multi-coloured, unfilled, filled or in all sorts of shapes and sizes. She starts us off with a basic egg pasta dough and works through all the possible variations of flavour and colour, including a guide to making gluten free pasta… and you might even learn a little Italian along the way!
Perfect pasta, region by region
Many families have a reliable go-to recipe for lasagne, but in this recipe book you’ll find seven variations on the theme! And that’s just the tip of the pasta ‘iceberg’ – in A Passion for Pasta, you’ll find inspiring and delicious ideas from every corner of Italy. From Simple Spaghetti to Pumpkin and Amaretti Tortelli parcels, there’s a savoury dish to tempt every appetite and suit every occasion and taste.
