With two smooth beechwood handles, a clear glass container and a ceramic grinding mechanism, this smart grinder mill is equally brilliant for spices, salts and seeds and is great for keeping by the stove or on the dining table. It comes unfilled so you can fill it with whatever seasonings you prefer to use.

Perfect for when you need to stir with one hand and season with the other – simply squeeze the handles together for convenient and easy one-handed operation, or open them wide to use with a two-handed action and get a significantly increased output without any waiting about.
Larger than most mills
Significantly larger than any standard mill, the bespoke ultra-sharp ceramic mechanism will never rust and is fully adjustable with 6 grind settings to choose from. The generously sized glass jar allows you to grind larger amounts with ease and it can be used with a variety of different spices, salts and seeds without any flavour overlap so your dishes aren’t tainted.
Easy to adjust
There are 6 grind settings from super-fine to coarse, so it can be used for grinding all types of spices, salts, peppercorns and seeds, and it’s easy to adjust – simply twist the dial in either direction to go quickly from powder-fine to coarsely-cracked in a single click, turn the grinder over and you’re ready to go.
Easy to refill
The tempered glass spice jar is durable and clear so you can see how much is left inside, meaning no time is wasted refilling it halfway through cooking. It sits flat and stable on any worktop and has a wide-mouth opening for easy filling – just unscrew the jar to remove, fill it with the herbs, spices or peppercorns you've chosen and screw it back onto the grinder mechanism.

I love this mill - so easy to use, even one handed! It simple to refill and you get so much pepper with one squeeze that it doesn't take much effort at all!
We love this mill. It's so easy to use. You can grind a little with one hand, or for a lot of pepper, you can grind a MASSIVE amount when using two hands. It's well-constructed and the glass jar is a beautiful addition.
I placed all the herbs/spices to add to a curry then ground them all together. It was superb. I am ordering another so I can have a salt, pepper and curry mix one ready for use.
I am an avid cook and have gone through many so called ' well reviewed ' grinders and have been disappointed. This one has been a game changer in salt grinders, for me personally. It worked when I sprained my wrist and could grind only with one hand but works optimally using the two handles. It is robust and grinds my course sea salt perfectly. It has a wide mouthed storage jar so easy to refill . Fits more salt than most, so refilling is not often, nor onerous. Well done Lakeland for finding and supporting the designers of this product.
I purchased this at Christmas and have used it a few times to grind spices. However I have found attaching and detaching the glass jar awkward and unfortunately the other day it spun out of my hand and shattered on the kitchen floor. Unfortunately Lakeland do not sell replacements although having searched the internet I have now found a company that do and I am able to get an acrylic replacement.
