"Brilliant solution to wasting one-use bags" star star star star star I was skeptical at first and only bought one box of each size. Was so pleased went ahead and bought more. Yes they take up a little more space than other bags as they are stiffer but then they last longer. I've had mine for over a year and no problem with the seal at the top (although time will tell). They go in the dishwasher and then hang up to dry. Fold them up, back in the box for next time. I still use other freezer bags for one off things and for larger items but these are my go to bags for regular use (soups, meats, vegetables). Have not regretted buying and feel I'm doing my bit
"Just bought second box" star star star star star Was a bit unsure initially as these seem a bit pricey but having used the smaller ones for 6 months they are really good so I bought a second bigger lot. Keep food well as well as liquids.
"Excellent reusable bags" star star star star star I was so pleased to find these at Lakeland as I am trying to get rid of all single use plastic in the kitchen - such as clingfilm. I have had these now for over a year and they are still going strong. I use them for storing bananas, avocado, curry, soup. Fab! I've seen some people say they are too big. I just freeze my fruit for example, seal, let the air out and then fold the bag in half. The seal can be tough but you get used to it. They wash well in the dishwasher or by hand and I dry out with kitchen towel. I store them with a piece of kitchen towel in to keep them open when in not in use.
"LOVE THESE!" star star star star star Having just sat and read the reviews, I have to say that I am shocked! I bought these in store last year and they are BRILLIANT! I have never found these hard to clean (washed with soapy water in the sink) and opened up to dry! I have frozen salmon, chicken, mince, fish fingers - no smell at all afterwards! They can be tricky to close, but not impossible by any means. I love not using single use plastic freezer bags! I am just about to order myself some more, and my Mother-in-Law some.
"Must have." star star star star star If you own a freezer, you need these. Leftovers, batch cooking, they are a kitchen essential, and much better than plastic containers, as they can be squeezed into awkward gaps in the freezer.
