Lakeland Speciality Bakeware 12 Cup Flower Ring Tin 5 "Great fun" Mrs Evans 06 June 2019 I greased the tin before filling and with a little smack the buns popped out of the tin (after cooling 5 minutes first). It would be good to have a few recipes on the Lakeland blog specifically for this tin.
Lakeland Speciality Bakeware 12 Cup Flower Ring Tin 5 "Pretty Bakes" Miss Miah 18 December 2018 Unfortunately I made the error of over filling each mould (used a piping bag to pour batter in with), but the bakes came out lovely and moist. Also baked a lot quicker as the centre acts as a heating core. Due to overfilling I had to use a knife to help get the bakes out. Lifted out easily using the knife and my fingers. Did not come out when I flipped tin upside down and tapped it. Instructions said to grease the moulds, so not yet tried without greasing. Don't want to waste my batter!
Lakeland Speciality Bakeware 12 Cup Flower Ring Tin 3 "Not non-stick" Mr Groat 01 October 2019 It must be me! I obviously need help! I made a Mary Berry Victoria sponge recipe (the easy one where you weigh the eggs and use the same amount of flour, butter and sugar) anyway even using PME Release-a-cake on the tin only 3 came out in one piece. I left it 5 minutes and tried again, then every 5 minutes until the tin was empty - all I got was a load of crumbs. Was that the wrong recipe? Did I over fill the rings? Surely the whole tin is non-stick so it shouldn't matter how full the rings are? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I don't want to bin the tin. A note from the team Thank you for placing your review on the Lakeland Speciality Bakeware 12 Cup Flower Ring Tin. Our product query team here at Lakeland have suggested trying the following method to release the individual cakes. Before trying to remove a cake from a pan, it's important to let the cake cool for at least 30 minutes. Run a palette or rounded butter knife around the inside edge of the cake tin and carefully turn the cake out onto a cooling rack. -To remove the cakes without leaving a wire rack mark on the top, put a clean tea towel over the tin, put your hand onto the tea towel and turn the tin upside-down.
