"Excellent product" star star star star star I brought this a while ago and did not use it until just before Christmas when making some macarons. Oh my god this is the best bakeware ever, talk about non stick it is even better than the non stick baking parchment (in the past they have stuck to this). This product is excellent they just slid off the baking tray with no effort at all. Please bring in more designs and baking trays like this that are completely non stick and wash so easily, fantastic product Lakeland.
"Perfect macaroons!" star star star star star Was worried after reading other reviews but didn't need to be - perfect size macaroons that didn't stick at all even with no greasing. Bought this for daughter's 10th birthday and not at all disappointed!
"Really disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought this as I make a lot of macaroons and thought the non stick would be great. So disappointed yes they didn't stick but they were the worst shape macaroons I have ever made , I also piped some on parchment and they were great shape . The Lakeland tin ones didn't even produce feet. So disappointed . Going to take it back as I won't be using it again . support_agent A note from the team We're very sorry to hear this and we'll be in touch shortly to get this sorted to your satisfaction.
"Very disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I did want to purchase the macaron mats but they have been discontinued. These tins are no where near as good as the mats, I have tried 4 attempts of making the macarons with the tins and all have failed. I do have a mat but doesnt have the lips and they come out fine. I would not recommend this product. It looks nice but not very good for making nice macarons, no matter how much you put grease on they stick and do not form feet therefore you lose most of the mix when you are trying to get them out.
"Very Disappointing - Don't Buy for Making Macarons" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I have just been using normal baking trays and baking parchment up until now, which has actually worked quite well. I thought tray this would be a step up and the moulds would help me pipe consistent & even macarons. However, they didn't bake properly at all, didn't form feet and when I tried to remove them from the tray they just stuck to it. The moulds actually make it much harder to get them off in one piece. I actually tried twice, thinking that it was a one off, but it happened again. For anyone that wants to make macarons, a baking sheet and baking parchment is your best option.
