How to Use
Pour your hot roasting pan juices into the jug and the strainer shield lid will catch any bits of food; as you wait, the fat will separate and rise to the top then – and here’s the clever part – a squeeze of the trigger handle will dispense all the good stuff from the bottom of the jug into a pan below, leaving any fat behind. So you get to make yummy gravy with far less fat, fewer calories and all of the flavour. Winner winner, roast dinner!

Over the years, I've acquired the ladle type and the pouring jug fat separator from Lakeland and have been irritated by the amount of stock that can be processed in one go. This allows all my stock to be quickly and easily processed and seems easy to clean: I'm so pleased with it!
I’ve wanted something for a long while which separates fat from meat juices when I’m doing a roast. This jug is great. It has a mesh to catch the bits you don’t want in your meat juices and as the juice all come out of the bottom it’s a breeze to separate from the fat.
Very useful. Remember to use the strainer when using the separator otherwise it will clog up the release funnel at the bottom. Well liked.
Like all OXO products, the Fat Separator Gravy Jug is very well made, with a reassuring ‘chunkiness’ that makes the product easy to handle, and gives the impression of assured longevity.
