A heavyweight helper for any serious cook’s kitchen worktop, the Large Beech TV Chef’s Board from T&G Woodware is positively famous for the number of appearances it’s made on cookery shows such as Saturday Kitchen and MasterChef. It’s definitely qualified to be an A-list chopping board! Skilfully crafted from FSC-certified beechwood, this generously-sized chopping board won’t blunt your knife blades, withstands loads of use with barely a mark left behind, and being double-sided can be flipped if required. It’s handsome enough to use for presenting cold cuts on a buffet table, has plenty of room for carving a Christmas ham or arranging a serious cheeseboard selection and has sensibly-sized finger grooves cut into each end to help you lift it, carry it or turn it over.
The surfaces of this cutting board just need a careful wipe down with a clean, damp cloth after use, and an occasional coating of food-safe mineral oil will help to ‘feed’ the wood and maintain the lovely colours in the grain.

Please note: T&G recommend that wooden boards should be stacked on their long sides, especially when drying, so that any residual damp cannot ‘track’ up the grain and cause expansion which may encourage the board to split.
