There’s probably some culinary masterclass that shows you how to remove the pithy, seedy bits from the centre of peppers using a few clever cuts of a knife, but there’s no point when these corers get the job done in a few fuss-free seconds. Just stick the right-sized corer in the top of your pepper – the four prongs pierce the skin easily – and twist to loosen all the pithy bits and seeds. Your peppers will be ready for stuffing and baking, with no danger of them falling apart in the oven thanks to misplaced knife cuts.

Sized to Suit

Designed to fit easily into the hand so they’re comfortable to use, the large red one cores standard sweet or bell peppers, while the little green one is perfect for smaller, skinnier jalapeños. The green one slots inside the red one for space-saving storage.
