I bought this cookie cutter for my Son's birthday party as he is shark mad. I am not an experienced biscuit baker and it took time and patience to carefully cut them out of my dough mixture. I choose to decorate with grey icing sugar and white for the teeth. Looks much better if you outline in white first and make the eye separately and allow to dry before placing onto the wet icing.
This is a great cookie cutter - just the right size and level of detail to look like what it is without any additional decoration (I just make plain sweet biscuits with wholemeal flour for my kids to snack on - no icing). The teeth detailing is visible in the finished cookie and all the pieces are easy to transfer from table to baking tray without loss of parts! Really nice size too - not too big not too small - an ideal portion size for a toddler. Lots of fun.
