Easy to Use

A relatively recent arrival in the West, this style of flat-topped icing nozzle is thought to have originated in Russia – hence their name – and they create incredibly impressive results with a super-easy technique. Making icing flowers is as easy as pie when you’ve got these multi-perforated nozzles in your decorating kit. Just choose which of the 8 nozzle patterns you’d like to use, fill the piping bag with stiff buttercream mixture and you’re ready to go… a few minutes of practice on a piece of parchment – or a biscuit, if you’d like to eat the results – will have you turning out neat little flowers by the dozen!

It really is incredibly easy and effective – the trick is to keep the piping bag as upright as possible, get the tip really close to the cake you’re decorating and squeeze the piping bag to make the base of your buttercream flower ‘stick’ to the surface of the cake – carry on squeezing until the flower is the height you want, then lift the piping bag away swiftly to admire the perfectly formed flower-head left behind.

What is Included?

With eight nozzles to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice – we had to bake more cupcakes to ice because we were so impressed at how easy it was to do! There are also three reusable piping bags, a screw-on coupler to attach the nozzles firmly, and an additional coupler set that will hold a trio of piping bags, so you can combine different colours of buttercream and make tri-coloured flowers.

Made from Tritan, the see-through nozzles are BPA free, and all the nozzles and the acrylic couplers are dishwasher safe.

Decorating Tips

These nozzles are ideal for super-speedy decorating of cupcakes, but if you’re decorating a larger cake you may find it easier to pipe the flowers onto parchment, freeze them and then arrange them onto a butter-creamed cake while they’re frozen.

For the best definition, we recommend using an Italian meringue or a stiff American-style buttercream recipe with these nozzles.
