A little bit of practice is all it takes to create dramatic soft-petalled edible flowers and floral ‘pompoms’ in two different sizes with this pair of Twist Twist Plain Icing Nozzles. The technique is really easy to pick up and it takes just seconds to produce perfect toppings for your bakes, sure to bring a ‘wow’ from friends and family.
The slotted globes on the end of these icing nozzles make it super-easy to pipe fabulous-looking floral effects on the top of cakes, cookies and cupcakes.
Made from stainless steel to give years of use.
How to Use Twist Twist Icing Nozzles
1. Pop the nozzle into your icing bag and fill it with stiffly whipped cream, icing or thick buttercream.
2. Place the tip of the nozzle into the centre of your cupcake or the middle of where you want the flower to be and, holding the bag completely vertical, squeeze the icing bag while you twist the tip back and forth. If you want your flower to be taller, you’ll need to lift the nozzle off the cake for the last few seconds of piping.
3. When the flower is the size you require, lift the nozzle away and finish the heart of the flower with a few edible sprinkles or a jelly sweet.
Tip – you can try using two or more colours of icing together in the icing bag to get multi-coloured ‘petals’.

These nozzels are a quick and easy way to get a great effect when decorating cupcakes, everyone was praising my piping skills! They do leave a little bit of a hole when you pull the nozzle away but I just filled it with sprinkles and the end result was great. Also looks great using two tone icing.

Gave the exact effect I wanted, no fuss and really easy to use
Used the smaller nozzle and once you get the hang of twisting I got good results. The only small snag was the hole in the middle after removing the nozzle but I just filled that with chocolate chips
I used the smaller nozzle for whipped cream.....i think my cream was abit too thick so when i was trying to finish the design and lift the nozzle up.....the whole cream was coming up too!!!!
