More effective than a standard slotted spoon for lifting food clear of liquid or hot fat, this School of Wok Spider Strainer is Jeremy Pang’s take on an iconic Chinese cookery tool, traditionally used for straining and skimming.

Jeremy himself has given it a distinctive angle in the Chinese style for use in carbon steel woks and other wide, shallow pans, but we’ve found it just as useful for lifting food out of deep fryers with the minimum of fat, and rescuing poached eggs and vegetables from hot pans.

Made from high quality polished stainless steel with a comfortable bamboo handle and a loop for hanging it up by.

Please note: not suitable for non-stick pans.
