Batch 1 went well but realised larger jar needed for a batch with a whole head of Chinese Leaf and a whole mooli radish so I now have both sizes. Results are delicious and very piquant - trying to eat a little every day to maintain healthy gut bacteria. Batch 2 today has finely sliced carrot in too. I use less chilli. Mixes well with houmous for a sandwich filling, also with tuna/mackerel on toast. Seeing other reviews I will now get back into the whole sourdough thing again using the smaller jar.
