Cole & Mason Horsham Salt Mill

It does its job and is easy to fill. The little booklet that accompanies the mill says, however: "Salt should not be put in this pepper mill because corrosion will occur." I'll give five stars in the hope that corrosion won't occur.

A great replacement mill. This one will mill salt to my selected coarseness or fineness. It doesn’t leak salt all over my kitchen cupboard when stored away as others have done. It looks good and certainly is an efficient and effective addition to my table.

I bought this to go with the pepper mill, and found it easy to fill and easy to use with a variety of grating sizes. As the open end is up, there is no salt dust left on the work surface.

I have had a Cole & Mason Salt Mill for over 30 years. It has been used daily throughout this time & is still working. However, I fancied a change, so purchased this as I am confident that this is a reliable brand. I was not disappointed. The updated version has the added advantage of a variable grinder which delivers fine to course ground Salt. In addition, the grinding mechanism is on the top, so no more Salt grains on the work top. Very easy to grip & turn. Looks great on the dinner table too. With a lifetime guarantee on the grinding mechanism you can't go wrong

I've invested in this Salt Mill as my current Cole & Mason mill drops salt all over the place due to the loose grinding mechanism at the bottom. The fine milling option is really fine and operates smoothly. Worth investing in something that cost a little more to get the quality. Can not wait for the matching pepper mill to arrive (currently out of stock)! However purchase in 202 and the silver on the outside is starting to split around the edges, previous salt mills had had the same problem - I think it is the nature of Salt!
