Stacked up and served sweet with a drizzle of maple syrup… brightening up breakfast with a dollop of yoghurt and a handful of berries… rolled up and filled with ice cream for a summery sweet treat… however you enjoy your waffles, our prettily patterned Stove Top Waffle Press lets you make them easily at home, turning out crisp, classic waffles that are simple to transform into irresistible ice cream cones.
How it Works
Heat the press on the hob, carefully add a few tablespoons of batter, close and cook for just 2 to 3 minutes, turning halfway through so both sides of your waffle end up a beautiful golden brown. If you’re a bit too generous with your spooning, any extra mixture will end up safely contained in the rim rather than spattered across your hob, and you can lift the lid to check on progress so your waffles will be cooked just the way you like them. To help you get started on wonderful waffling adventures, we’ve also included a recipe for a basic sweet batter that’s perfect for making flat waffles and cones for ice cream too.
Ice Cream Waffle Cones
Once your waffles are cooked you can leave them to cool flat ready for stacking, or you could roll them around our Krumkake Roller to make perfectly shaped waffle cones. Leave them to cool and harden and they’ll be ready to finish off with scoopfuls of ice cream or sorbet – ideal for a summer’s day or as a deliciously different dessert.

Made from cast aluminium, the plates provide even heat distribution for consistent results all the way across, so your waffles won’t be burned in the middle and raw at the edges. An easy release non-stick coating helps them peel away easily once cooked, so you don’t have to spend ages prying them free, and the heat-resistant handle keeps your hands out of harm’s way.
