Lodge Cast Iron Skillet 26cm 5 "Can’t fault it" Mr Vaisey 26 January 2018 Having read many reviews on cast iron cookware, and seeing the Lodge name mentioned many times in high regard, I decided to take the plunge. The preseasoning is great, and whilst it takes a little while to get used to how different it is to conventional pans, it’s well worth it. Bacon, burgers, eggs etc have turned out great, and steaks have a beautiful seared crust I’ve not achieved using steel pans. The fact it can be used on the hob, in the oven or on the bbq etc just adds to its practicality. Just remember the handle gets very hot! Will be joined by more cast iron very soon!
