With the blades positioned at the top you get all the features you would expect from a box grater – four different stainless steel cutting blades (coarse, fine, extra-fine and star), but in a really stable structure.

One of the problems that Joseph Joseph set out to solve is that of how to store a box grater as tidily as possible; with their smart Prism Grater you simply invert the bladed lid and store it safely in the base, giving you a compact, low-rise package that will easily store in a kitchen drawer.

With a comfortable soft grip handle and non-slip feet, you can tackle even the hardest things – Parmesan, carrot or nutmeg – with absolute ease, and the base collects your gratings as you go – just pop the lid on to keep any leftover grated cheese in the fridge.
