With the help of Lékué’s 6 Silicone Bagel Moulds, you can now effortlessly make delicious bagels with a crispy, golden finish in your own kitchen. Made from non-stick silicone, the central spike makes it easy to create a uniform hole in each ball of dough and acts as a convenient handle for safely dipping in and out of boiling water (essential for that authentic texture) before placing in the oven to bake.
Designed to give you optimum results every time, and because no one wants a bagel with a soggy bottom, there are tiny perforations in the base of each mould to allow excess moisture to drain away, ensuring that all-important crispy finish. Once you’ve finished, the moulds stack together for convenient storage, and are dishwasher safe for quick and easy cleaning.
Oven safe up to 220°C.

This is great and simple to use. The dough can be made in a bread maker and then the proving, boiling and baking done on the mounds. Works best using more dough than the recipe suggests - bigger bagels! Would recommend to anyone who likes making their own bread but fancies something different.
I bought these because all my attempts at bagels came out uneven and with little or no hole in the middle, so they were really buns not bagels. These moulds are fantastic! I just LOVE them. I have used them every day since I received them (five days) and my daughter has now asked me to make them for her too.I have long thought that my favourite kitchen item was my Kenwood Chef mixer but now ... I am not so sure. I think I may be ordering a second set of Bagel Moulds just in case
Saw these instore and thought 'what's the point?'. Then I made my first attempt at bagels - it was impossible to get the proved bagels off a baking sheet, into the pan of boiling water and out again and then into the oven without destroying their shape. They came out the oven crushed and wrinkled. Now I understand the point of these. These moulds make the process so easy! And the recipe is much better than the one I used before too. Tip: after baking the top half, take them off the mould and turn over to brown the bottom. A must if you want to make bagels.
I have found them really useful and since a bagel disaster many years ago (made doorstops instead of bagels from a well known cookery writer's recipe). Also the recipe provided is delicious and so unlike those awful hard tasteless supermarket ones.
Surprisingly good and easy to use. First batch of bagels using the recipe in the box was a failure as they were really salty and the proving times didnt work. . Used the Good Food recipe in the end, put the moulds on a wire rack on a baking tray and the base was lovely and crisp. Definitely not a back of the cupboard product!
