2 "Disappointed with School of Wok" Miss Craig 07 December 2020 Unbalanced on any part of gas hob. Handle too heavy unless a lot of ingredients in pan. A note from the team We’re sorry this hasn’t worked well for you.
1 "Not happy" Mrs Barnett 29 October 2020 I’ve always been very happy with everything I’ve bought from Lakeland, but I am not happy with this Wok at all. I followed all the instructions, i.e. washing it beforehand, and attempting to “season” it, and at first it was great, but I did notice a slight mark on it after the first (gentle) wash after use, and even though it’s only been used a few times as I haven’t had it long, food sticks to it every time now and I just won’t be using it any more. I bought this to replace one I had used for years, but this one is definitely not as good. I’m very disappointed and do not recommend. A note from the team There's no need to season this wok, it's also best to heat the wok up slowly and steadily, but were sorry the food has started to stick.
1 "Really disappointing" Mrs Booth 12 October 2020 It’s a great size which attracted me to the wok. Advertised as non stick I thought it would wipe clean like other non stick pans but unfortunately this is not the case. I’m out off using it as it’s such an effort to clean. I did follow all the instructions but it’s just not for me. A note from the team We're sorry you found this difficult to clean. You can boil water in the wok and scrape the food with a wooden spatula, there's also useful video on You Tube - ‘Dr Wok How to Clean a Wok’
1 "Disappointing" Mrs Higham 07 July 2020 I thought this was going to be an excellent wok after my first use of it however having used it 3 times now the non stick surface on the bottom of the pan inside is discoloured, this despite the fact that I have used and cleaned it as per the instructions provided. Very disappointed. A note from the team we do recommend the wok is seasoned properly before use. For advice on cleaning a wok, you can visit You Tube and look up ‘Dr Wok How to Clean a Wok’ which is good for uncoated Woks. For non stick woks, then boil water in the Wok and scrape the food with a bamboo or wooden spatula. Regardless we'll be in touch shortly to sort this for you.
1 "School of Wok non stick wok" Janet Purcell 30 June 2020 I am really disappointed with this. Food stuck from the very first use. It also is not really suitable for gas hob as keeps falling over but can put up with that if it was truly non stick! A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear this and will be in touch shortly to get this sorted for you. We recommend that you season a wok to create a protective coating before use.
