It is cumbersome & has no exit 'funnel' to the groove so traps crumbs round the edge etc. I would not recommend it unless you want it to permanently sit on your bench- I hoped to put it away after each use- but have stopped using it altogether! You need 3 hands- two to hold it and one to brush off debris. I need a smaller lighter board but refuse to buy plastic. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. "Beech chopping block" star star star star star This is a very good chopping board that serves my needs very well. It has a nice crumb rim to catch the crumbs when using it for sandwich making etc. It is very practical and easy to keep clean regardless of whatever it is used with . It is tough , good looking and a product that I would recommend to others.

Also it is fiddly to get the breadcrumbs out of the groove, would be helpful if there was an exit space on the corner.
