These are great for storing left over onion, tomato and lemon in the fridge. FAR better than just wrapping them in cling film. They stay fresh for ages. The containers are quite a bit bigger than I was expecting so you can actually put quite large pieces in. I thought they were pretty good value too in the 3 pack.
I only wanted the onion saver really but wondered if the tomato would be useful for peppers. Well so far we have used the onion saver for red and normal onions without any leaking of odours and it is simple to wash. And we have indeed used the tomato one for cut peppers and again no odours though I do wonder why there is a silly green stalk, of course it is an arty touch to make it look like a tomato, but it means there is a tiny hole in the top which I would prefer not to have. All in all a great set.
