Joseph Joseph Large See-Through Surface Protector

Just to let all customers know that i bought 2 of these nearly 12 months ago to go on top of my new wooden worktops. They are absolutely fantastic! I currently have 2 of the large protectors and am just about to purchase some smaller ones. As i was about to purchase them i saw all the negative reviews and felt i had to say that they must have been part of a faulty batch. Mine are tough, heatproof and so easy to clean! I love them too because you can see my worktops through them. One of my best buys from Lakeland!!

Have had this for about 6 weeks now and love it. I use it to protect my new touch control induction hob from scratches, allowing me some extra work space. It also stores very neatly, standing between the wall and hob when I am cooking. Have had no problems so far that some others have stated in their reviews and would recommend.

I bought 6 of these items about 6 years ago and they are still going strong! I've had them in the dishwasher and put casserole dishes on them straight from the oven. I would, and have, recommeded them to friends. My one criticism is that I would prefer the corners not to be so rounded as they would look better when placed next to each other along my wooden worktop! But that is a personal preference and nothing to do with the properties of the product itself.

I have had 3 large clear surface protectors for over 10 years. They have looked attractive, been wonderful hot plates, chopping boards and have saved my wooden counter surfaces from a lot of wear and tear. Unfortunately the small feet started coming off although there was nothing wrong with the protectors themselves. I glued back some successfully but then some got lost. Lakeland was able to supply me with a package of the feet, excellent service. So I fully expect my protectors to last a good lfew more years.

I have three of these large surface protectors and I love them. In fact I have just moved to a property with an even bigger kitchen and will be popping in for two more :)) Yes, I have had problems with the plastic peeling from the back- but I just pop back with my receipt (ALWAYS keep ALL my Lakeland receipts from years back) and it is replaced without question..... so I'm not only delighted with the product, but the service as well.
