Fillables 29cm Fluted Ring Cake Tin

This is a showstopper that's as easy as can be, because the tin does all the work. I've used this four times since I bought it and every one has been perfect. It takes a lot of mix but it's worth it. I have done each one a vanilla sponge with a marmalade and orange oil for the secret filling, a decadent layer of chocolate buttercream to sandwich them together and then white and dark melted chocolate drizzled over the top, absolute perfection. I've already got requests for more.

This lives up to expectations and is a delight to use. Excellent for flights of fancy and therefore versatile for individual creativity. I just wish to have a further option to buy a flat top tin (such as shown in your other round fillable tin) to use with this base! The shapes of the top tins are so good on the whole fillable range, that these pans could be marketed separately for smaller tray bakes, or as super sponge tins. Well done Lakland but please take it a step further. The factory is all ready tooled up to produce the top tins!! Take advantage of this.

Your email for this popped up on my laptop whilst at work and after reading about it thought I would give it a go. Although there is a mistake in one of the recipes included (and I have not yet found out what) I set about making a buttermilk sponge from my own recipe. Well, it's just come out the oven and looking excellent. Going to fill it with strawberries and raspberries alternately and decorate the top. Proof will be when I take it in to work tomorrow and see how long the cake lasts. Overall a brilliant addition. Please don't open Lakeland where I live, I will never be out of it.

I was inspired by the Great British Bake Off to present a show stopper of a cake. Followed instructions for baking and greasing the tins my chocolate cake turned out well. I sandwiched it with chocolate and hazlenut spread and put fresh raspberry's in the pockets. Melted chocolate was drizzled over the top. It looked great and I was proud to offer to my guests.

Great show stopper cake. 1 st try didn’t come out of mold very well . But second try worked well by greasing the base and putting it in freezer for a few minutes then could see the bits I missed, greased again and hay presto success. Filled with crushed pineapple, blueberries and last of all cherries. All family favourites.
