Circulon Ultimum 20cm Frying Pan

Product number: 71760

Just right when you’re cooking for one, this 8" Circulon Ultimum Frying Pan– whether you’re rustling up bacon and a fried egg for breakfast, making a little frittata for lunch or quickly searing a fillet of fish.

About the Circulon Ultimum Range

Guaranteed non-stick When Circulon say non-stick, they mean non-stick. In fact, they’re so sure that the ULTRA Total non-stick system they’ve used on this range can deliver total food release, it’s covered by guarantee for the lifetime of the pan. Consisting of a premium, all-over, triple-layered coating, it offers exemplary food release and maximum durability. Ultra-smooth to prevent staining, scratching or chipping, the hi-low grooved design also protects the cooking surface by reducing abrasion – helping to make it so tough that you can even use metal utensils on it.

Durable It’s not just the non-stick coating that’s built to last. The bodies of the pans are made from high density, forged aluminium, hard anodised for extra toughness, and all the fittings – the lid, handle and rivets – are made from cast stainless steel for a really hard-wearing finish.

Versatile With thickened aluminium bases that deliver fast, even heating with no hot spots, there aren’t many stovetop tasks these pans can’t do – and do exceptionally well. But every pan in the range also has a forged edge-to-edge base that means they can be used on all types of hob, including induction. And because the fittings are all stainless steel, they can go into the oven too, where they can be used up to a very impressive 260°C.

Good-looking When it comes to cookware, performance is always going to be more important than appearance – but it doesn’t hurt if your pans are pretty too. Twinning a hard-anodised finish with shiny stainless steel makes for a super-smart look you’d be more than happy to see out on display.

Easy to clean Flat rivets on the inside mean there’s nowhere for food to get stuck. And because nobody likes cleaning pans, Circulon have expertly engineered these ones to withstand the abrasive properties of detergents, so you can stick them in the dishwasher safe in the knowledge that you’re not shortening their lives.

Lifetime manufacturer's guarantee.

"Fantastic buy!!"

star star star star star

I brought on on Saturday as my old frying pan had seen better days and it's non stick had gone, so everything was sticking causing frustration in my household. I came home from shopping on the Monday to find my son had used my new pan and he absolutely raved about it, saying it was so no stick his eggs just rolled out of the pan. Brilliant

"The best little frying pan ... ever!"

star star star star star

The title says it all. No need for oil, an omlette cooks without sticking, browning and cooking evenly. This little beauty wipes clean in a swipe and looks stylish too. Having had many many frying pans that make lofty claims, many of which were disproved within months, I am confident that this one will live up to its claims and out survive the others. When my AGA is turned back on in the Autumn, it'll really go through its paces (I'm currently using induction hobs) but I'm sure it'll be up to it. It'll be another Lakeland order then for a couple more of these brilliant pans in larger sizes.

"small circulon frying pan"

Not had circulon before but l love it. It is expensive but little oil is used and it cleans very easily and it feels like it will last a long time. Hoping to buy another pan soon.

"Great little pan"

Lovely heavy duty, robust non-stick surface. Just perfect for omelettes and properly fried eggs.

"Pan is fine but handle gets too hot"

All my pans are Circulon so,having read the Lakeland reviews I decided to proceed. The Ultimum isn't as sturdy as the Premier but the main problem is the handle which, because it is metal, becomes incredibly hot whilst in use. So much so that, after making crepes in it last night, it became too hot to use, to the point of the risk of burning my hand. This was the first time of use and I doubt I shall use it again, which means it's a waste of money. Sorry Lakeland but I have to say that had I known this I would not have bought it. I'm now stuck with a pan I don't feel safe or comfortable using.

support_agent A note from the team

Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear of your experience and pleased to see our contact centre have put things right for you. This pan should always be used on an appropriate sized ring to avoid the heat travelling up the sides to the handle.
