We love this little kettle and it’s warning whistle. Having an Aga it is ideal with its size , quick to boil and easy to fill. In the past we have often let our old kettle boil dry as is easy when one leaves the kitchen whilst waiting. Quality and appearance excellent,
I bought this kettle as we'd just had a Smart Meter installed and realised how much electricity an electric kettle used. As we had a new induction hob, which is very good on electricity usage, I thought we'd buy this kettle. When I first used it, I compared its electricity usage against the electric kettle and the meter showed that the whistling kettle used half the amount. However, you do have to get used to hanging around (admittedly for a very short time ) until the kettle boils otherwise you have a madly whistling kettle getting on your nerves if you leave it unattended. This is a charming kettle on the hob, easy to wipe clean and pours excellently . Sadly I accidentally dropped it and the handle cracked but it operates so well I have to buy a replacement . Totally recommend it and looks so much better than others I have seen on the market . Well worth it
